As we slowly emerge from the recession, employment opportunities are increasing. Employers should be aware that their best employees are the most employable and may be subject to aggressive recruiting efforts. In light of the substantial layoffs over the last few years, employees are cognizant of the lack of job security in the workplace and many have been working long hours with added responsibilities during the recession.
