Community Seminar on Flood Restoration and Cleanup

 ISU Extension and Outreach, the City of Sioux City, and the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a seminar on post-flood restoration and clean-up presented by nationally known flood recovery expert, Dr. Ken Hellevang. This seminar will be held at the Sioux City Convention Center on August 29 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM for homeowners and businesses.   The presentation will cover the hazards associated with flood clean-up and recommended personal protective equipment; water damage restoration and accepted mold  removal standards and procedures; specific guidelines for appliances, HVAC, electrical, and different types of construction materials and components.
