Please join us at Siouxland District Health Department for a ribbon cutting to showcase their recently updated sensory friendly clinic exam rooms. SDHD was one of two communities in the nation awarded funding through NACCHO to strengthen disability inclusion efforts within local health departments. Come hear and see what SDHD has done to enhance capacity to meet the needs of people with disabilities in our community. SDHD hopes this model can be replicated throughout the community to better serve all residents. Tour of clinic exam rooms and light refreshments will be provided.
