Brian Wiese was raised in Orange City, Iowa, and graduated from Northwestern College. He has been employed by MidAmerican Energy Company since 1996 in a variety of finance and risk management positions. Since July 2012, he has been responsible for natural gas procurement, hedging and optimization activities of regulated natural gas utility serving over 700,000 customers in Iowa, South Dakota, Illinois and Nebraska. He is also responsible for procuring and managing related transportation, storage and other supporting services and assets.
